Pathmaker Collective
A Collective of Organizations Committed to Ending Scripture Poverty Among the Deaf
The Pathmaker Collective is a growing network of churches, ministries, foundations, businesses, and mission-minded organizations united around a common goal:
Providing God’s Word in sign language for Deaf communities around the world.
Together, we are helping create a future where every Deaf person has access to Scripture in the language they understand best.
Why the Pathmaker Collective Exists
More than 83 million Deaf people worldwide remain among the largest unreached people groups. Over 200 sign languages still have little to no Scripture available, leaving millions without meaningful access to God’s Word in their heart language.
For many Deaf communities, the Bible remains inaccessible, not because it doesn’t exist, but because it has never been translated into their language.
The Pathmaker Collective was created to change that.
By bringing together organizations that share a passion for the Great Commission, we can accelerate Bible translation, expand Scripture access, and equip Deaf leaders to impact their communities with the Gospel.
Our Shared Goal
Deaf Pathway Global is working to produce the New Testament in multiple sign languages by 2033 through Deaf-driven Bible translation.
The Pathmaker Collective exists to help make that vision a reality.
Every organization that joins becomes part of a larger movement working to:
Translate Scripture into sign languages
Increase access to God’s Word through technology
Strengthen Deaf-led ministry around the world
Equip Deaf pastors, teachers, and church leaders
Reach Deaf communities that have never had access to Scripture
How the Collective Creates Impact
-
Deaf-Driven Translation
We partner with Deaf translation teams to create accurate and culturally meaningful translations of Scripture in national sign languages.
-
Technology That Expands Access
Through the Deaf Pathway Bible App, Scripture can be distributed globally and accessed wherever Deaf communities live.
-
Leadership Development
Translated Scripture becomes a foundation for discipleship, church growth, and leadership training among Deaf believers.

Collective Giving. Collective Impact.
On average, $75 helps translate one verse of Scripture. As organizations come together, individual gifts become chapters, books, and complete New Testaments.
No single organization can meet the need alone.
But together, through the Pathmaker Collective, we can help ensure that Deaf communities encounter God’s Word in their own language.
Become a Member
We are inviting a select group of churches, ministries, foundations, and businesses to become members of the Pathmaker Collective.
Together we can accelerate Bible translation, expand Scripture access, and help end Scripture poverty among the Deaf worldwide.
